AVSLib is copyright (c) 2005, 2007 George Zarkadas.
Different licences apply to the various parts of the AVSLib library. The following terminology applies for distinguishing these parts:
AVSLib source code:
- Any text or file containing Avisynth script language source code and/or any other programming or scripting language source code (including but not limited to: Python, AWK, C, C++, Assembly, NSIS, shell scripts).
- Any piece of code (for example: sample scripts and code excerpts) contained within AVSLib documentation (see below) when transfered to a source code text file of any programming or scripting language.
AVSLib documentation:
- Any text or file documenting any aspect of the AVSlib library or being a presentation component of the above texts or files or presenting the results of execution of AVSLib source code (for example logos, images, videos and graphics included or referenced by the above texts or files), which is not AVSLib source code.
Taking into account the above terminology, the following licences apply to each part of the AVSLib library:
Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify AVSLib source code under the terms of the GNU General Public Licence (GNU GPL), Version 2.0 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation;
A copy of the license is included in the section entitled "GNU General Public License".
Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify AVSLib documentation under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation; with the Invariant Sections being
- the AVSLib logo graphic file (avslib.gif), included by all documentation pages at the top-left of the page,
with no Front-Cover Texts, and no Back-Cover Texts.
